Terms of Service
Last updated October 2026These terms are the agreement between you and Shopfold about your use of the service. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
Your account
- You must give accurate information and keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- If you use the service for a business, you confirm you are allowed to act for that business.
- Tell us promptly if you think your account has been accessed without your permission.
What you may do
Use the service lawfully and for its purpose. You must not:
- break the law, or infringe anyone's rights, by using it;
- try to access other people's data, probe or attack the service, or interfere with how it works;
- send it malicious code, or use it in a way that places an unreasonable load on it;
- resell or share your access except as we agree.
Your data
Your inventory, invoices and other content stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them to provide the service. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for having the right to enter it, including your customers' information. See our privacy policy.
Connected services
The service can connect to outside services such as Clover and MyRepairApp using credentials you provide. When you do, you authorise us to read and change your information there as you direct, including creating, updating and deleting items. Those services have their own terms and may limit, change or stop their connections at any time; we are not responsible for them. Always check important stock and price changes where you sell.
Accuracy and your own checks
Syncs, stock counts and invoices depend on the information you and your connected services provide. The service can show wrong numbers if that information is wrong or out of date, or if a connection fails. You are responsible for checking what you rely on, including invoices and tax amounts you send to customers.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running, but it may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may change or retire features, and will try to give notice of changes that significantly affect you.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Shopfold is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits, lost sales or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim (or a small fixed amount if the service was free). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending your use
You can stop using the service and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk. After closing, we handle your data as described in the privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is meaningful we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
